Artist's Statement
In my work, I explore concepts of how empathy bridges bodily reality and imagined possibilities, history and identity, humans to each other and to the environment. Through juxtapositions and refashioning of the familiar with the unfamiliar, I hope to create art that generates a different perspective for the viewer.
